Meeting minutes Feb24
Happy New Year of Tiger!
In the first new year meeting toastmaster Liu Bing shared his tips on how to overcome talking with strangers by “Instant Communication – 10 seconds rule” He encouraged us to do the same and brought us to practice by sharing our special moments in Spring festivals. We surprised to see our old friends Edward and Simon. They shared the culture shock while stationed in HK. Issa shared her visit in Shanghai TM clubs, and be proud she’s in our GC family.
Kelvin under fever gave us an interesting speech on the topic of Expensive Housing in Beijing. His interesting introduction elaborated an impressive insight of how we might able to find a home like snail with a cheaper price in 20years.
Cindy shared an interesting news that the popularity of twitter even our country leader is on the list too.
Alot of members caught the holiday illness. It’s sad some of them unable to join us in the Table Topics Contest. But so happy to see those able to. Their passion touch our hearts. Especially our contest master Cathy Yue with her sore throat, brought us an interesting topic to challenge our 7 contestants. You want to know the topic?
