Theme of the meeting: The Best About I like…by Porsher
She leaded us to find much more bright sides of ourselves and our current situation by answering questions as TM i.e What do you like the most about yourself/your friends/ your job / your group like TM. In this way, THE MORE YOU LIKE YOURSELF, THE HAPPIER YOUR LIFE WOULD BE.

However, our lives sometimes disturbed by others’ bad times, so in Monica’s table topics session, we needed to overcome these disturbance and influence them positively. Jason’s wife complaint his lack of housework contribution. He comforted her by his love and gained respect from his wife’s understanding of his busy work load. Husband felt guilty by losing the wedding ring. Smart Tessa comforted him by blaming the naughty dog ‘Rocky’ and came up with the exciting suggestion that having a second wedding ceremony. Elsa refused her boyfriend’s cosmetic surgery as what if it turned out badly so she persuaded him to invest in the relationship like buying clothes for her. Our guest Bill’s daughter complaint about not getting enough pocket money. He promised to give installment if she could put more effort on her study. Angela’s co-worker complaint about the bad weather. She comforted her in respect and suggested her with some good indoor activities like girls day in shopping, going movies and coffee. Lucy’s employees complaint about too many meetings. She comforted them by pointing out their benefits on that and how to make complaint effective. Cindy imagined her boss and used her experiences entertained us on how not to angry with the secretary’s incapability. Lily as table topics evaluator enjoyed the session and encourage the essentials of being creative and use of body language in table topics session.

In prepared speech session, Lucy introduced a theory “All the behavior is our choice”, explained our feeling is kindly a behavior, so to be happier or sad, to be angry or calm, being picky or easy going depends on our choice. Be-aware that: Choose the right feeling/behavior means choose a better life. Tessa’s advanced project on communication on how we can talk to the strangers with ease. She used an interesting setting vividly elaborate tips like approaching to someone who is not in a group; start small talk with sincere, etc. Liu Bing’s “Make them Laugh” project shared his TM’s experiences on how we can draw audiences’ attention. Reminded us, a good opening, be free from mistakes and remember give a meaningful conclusion.

Newsmaster Justine gave us a joke on about how Obama outsource his job to an Indian technician. Wordsmith Simon rewarded us a penny to those used word of day “Slightly” better. And we still need to work on our pronunciation and usage of words. Kelvin used portion of John Denver’s ‘Sunshine on my shoulder’ lyrics to encourage us make good use of the moment right now. GE Jason reminded us the importance of motivating speakers in evaluation enhance their improvements.
