Meeting Minutes Jan13
Dear fellows,
First time toastmaster Sebrina reminded us the best of having precious real friendship even it became harder in time. Especially when we faced some troubles in our friendship by table topics master Lucy. Zhang Lin had a good influence from his best friend. Rolf showed us how to get away the quarrel between women and men. Kelvin’s being helpful for friends in exams for hoping be remembered in the future. Simon chose to be the good man even his best friend won his girl friend’s heart. Kelly reminded us that need time to build up the trust between friends. Bonnie shared her rewarded story from trusting her friends. Marty had more than 200 friends will willing to borrow him money when needed. Ellen shared how men and women can have pure real friendship. Even we faced these, we had no doubt that “Friendship is the receipt for the happy life”.
We enjoyed Liu Bing’s prepared speech on “Assumptions are bad”. He brought us lots of laughs and gave a good example how our assumptions will affect our communication with others. Wordsmith Porsher found out using positive words are the skeleton of good communication. Elsa’s straight forward timer introduction results smooth meeting. Crunch words like noise, Ah counter Monica encouraged us to reduce them. General Evaluator Lily appreciated our first timer role takers’ well preparation and performance. Cindy organised a table for her table topics evaluation gave us informative suggestions. Cooper challenged our listening skills with tricks. Issa shared Dr. Bei’s travelling experiences to remind us “the power of dream is a receipt for fulfilling our life”
Good time went fast especially we met 10 new friends and welcome Cooper and Elsa joined our GC family!
